I had to disconnect the PAS pump to fit the turbo manifold and turbo in, I recycled the fluid and when I bolted everything back in and refilled, the pump makes a funky whirring sound, as if it’s running dry. In the reservoir I’m getting a lot of bubbling. I’ve tried slowly going lock to lock, but still noisy. When turning with wheels on ground the pump is very loud.
Any suggestions to properly bleed the system?

Lift the front off the ground, turn it slowly from lock to lock whilst keeping the reservoir topped up...

Lift the front off the ground, turn it slowly from lock to lock whilst keeping the reservoir topped up... sorta above but I just do it with the car on the ground and... not too slowly between lock & lock (sometimes need an assistant to refill the reservoir dependant on its volume?) just check that the pumps 'scavange' & return pipes at the reservoir has no kinks that could cause a restriction Rich

I did turn lock to lock slowly for about a minute, but no change at all. How king does it normally take to bleed?

stupid question (maybe?)
when on lockstops, did you hold the position or turn opposite?
if you hold it will blow the relief-valve & return fluid through the pump.
sometimes it can take a few tries or maybe a short drive to flush through..
Rich.
