Ok a bit of explanation.
GSXR ITBs have four air pipes going to manifold on cam cover for idle control, one port on manifold goes to FPR, one port goes to the ECU barometric sensor, The fat yellow pipe goes to the Mk2 IAC valve, Hopefully once its all sorted I can get control of the IAC valve from the ME221 to sort out the idle speed with lights and AC on. Its all a bit of an experiment to get OEM tickover response. I have also got a DIY coolant re route under the ITBs. As the car has a yellow strut brace I thought I would continue the colour scheme.
Its all classic underbonnet Bullprarrie canoe. ( I thought it would be a good challenge for me )

Removed some parts and selling some of the stockpiled bits as the finances are not as healthy as they should be, I've fallen fowl of trying to collect too many bits instead of fitting what I have.....that and the rust issue

When I fitted the to my Westfield that had Jenvey TB’s I only had a single take off from one inlet which went to the barometric sensor on the MS. Tickled the throttle for the first minute or so and then it idled perfectly. It had a TPS as well. Your setup looks incredibly complicated, but life would be boring if we were all the same.

Found the remainder of the sheet of 6mm square galvanised wire mesh I bought 20 years ago to make a discreet high-flow grille before fitting a new front air guide to my first Mk.1 and used it to make another for the new front air guide for my current Mk.1.

Hi Zed, How long before the floor paint sticks to the tyres ? How did you find all that floor space ? the paint lifted almost instantly I gave it about 3 weeks to dry them parked a van & car in the unit, moved them a few days later & there was patches missing think it was a combination of cold weather (January) and bad luck floor space is a local council owned industrial unit, was intending to open back up fettlin but the location / neighbours mean it's not good for my clientele I'm looking for diferent location but not much hope..... Today I got dressed in my messing-about-with-cars gear, went on the internet quickly, then looked out the window to see it raining. Again.
Sigh.
Still, looking mild and dry tomorrow...

It's very therapeutic. Pair of wire snips and a bit of origami. Old one quickly faded to a dark grey which made it virtually invisible deep in the car's mouth. Worked a treat too. Caught some dents over the years which would otherwise have been the radiator or chargecooler rad.

Project rear hub started. Soaked everything in PlusGas yesterday. Freed off all of the nuts connecting the arms etc. to the hub. All came loose fairly easily. Only thing I didn't touch was the main hub nut. Getting the centre hub off the driveshaft isn't going to be fun I think. 13 years of corrosion on the driveshaft splines, and almost certainly no copperslip.

Nothing, it's feeling sorry for itself in my lock up for the winter. Got a few little jobs I want to do over winter before the spring though.
