Played on PC, single player is one of the best games I've played in a long time. I've always been a Battlefield fan and always considered myself to be quite good at it and always got frustrated when I played poorly......Battlefield 1 on the other hand I'm rubbish at, but I love it! I can't seem to see the person I'm shooting at when I aim down sight. But it's so cinematic and a lot of moments in the mulitplayer feels like scripted singleplayer stuff (mainly on Operations)! Shame I suck at it really lol

Is it the same as every other battlefield with different textures?
I fear it may be. Whilst not wanting to sound like an old git, BC2 was truly unique and epic, BF3 was ace, BF4 was sort of different but actually the same and Hardline was the same but worse. Now EA want another £100 for another go? I've probably put 3-4 hundred hours each into the previous titles (except hardline, pfft.) but this will be the first that I miss I think. Technology is getting better and games are being released as being different when in fact they are just prettier.

I don't feel like Hardline is the same as the others, felt a bit more arcadey (not that BF is really a sim). BF1 is WW1 so is massively different in that sense, guns are much harder to use. The audio in this game is impressive. Playing Operations when your whole team charges towards the next capture point and everyone is screaming/shouting is weirdly satisfying!
Personally I think it's very different to the rest of the series, it plays very different to the others. Like I said earlier I consider myself half decent on the previous games but I am terrible on BF1....but I still think it's my favourite so far.

I have bounced off this game so hard.
I know I am no good at this sort of game, but BF1 makes me feel absolutely useless. Run a bit, die ... run a bit .. shoot someone 5 times, shot once ... die ... repeat. Combine that with some EPIC LOAD TIMESSSSS ... and I've gotten fed up. Will trade for Titanfall 2 tomorrow.

Ah. I had the same problem and then realised I was playing it like COD. It isn't COD. Squad up with a couple of mates and use cover to work towards objectives and it's an awesome game. Run around trying to get a good KD ratio and it sucks.
I prefer the medic class now. Sit back behind your squad covering for any flanking action by the enemy, supply a bit of surpressive fire and dive in with Med packs and revives when required. I do this for random strangers in squads and they love me for it. Occasionally switch it up for a sniper depending on the map being played.
It's a shame your Xbox and not PS4 as I reckon we'd have a right laugh on chat chasing some Jerrys round a map in a tank.

Yeah I miss the days when loads of us had 360s and played COD.
I did have some fun in BF1 as a squad leader with Medic kit but it was only about 1 game in 5, guess I suit some maps better than others.
Is the inter-round loading time ridonkulous on a PS4 too? I thought this was 2016 and I am waiting literal minutes to get from 1 round to the next! Literal .... minutes
