We are booking into a hotel in Swansea on Thursday 13th October. Then I'll be getting a new mohair hood with glass window fitted by Jack Smith on the Friday morning. So that leaves us with a Thursday night out in town, and all of Friday to find stuff to do. I guess a walk around the harbour and beach will be good. Any other must see places? Cool bars? Ideas welcome  |

If the film Twin Town is anything to go by, Swansea is not the greatest destination

go to sin City "Metal" Club.
go to The Office - Metal Bar.
go to VICE (or wahtever it's called there) another "Metal" Club.
Visit the Mumbles, it's tiiidy butt.
The Marina is nice
The swimming pool is also tidy
Uhhh. Swansea's oldest pub is tidy butt
There's a Roman Wall in the town centre.
Uh, there's plenty of mad roads around the valleys.
GO TO THE GOWER - I think it's UNESCO listed.
Sorry if I was late. I haven't been forum-ing very much lately.

About to get some dinner in the Canoeing Grand, then off to get Canoe faced in some bars down wine street, is it. Canoeing tidy.

Well that was interesting. Hotel food was a bit pants. Cocktails out were a bit watered down. A mix of a few chavs and normal people, like most places. Overall it was ok.
We took a drive out to the Mumbles and another remote beach in between rocky cliffs. That was good.
JS is a bit of a character / nutter. The hood looks much better! It is probably noisier than vinyl on the motorway though. Having some rear visibility is great.
