We have our first broomball game next week, once the rink is iced. I'll try and get some pictures of Minnesota's most ridiculous sport.

If I get time over Christmas, I'll start trying to put a blog together - starting with the 7 hour road trip to Kansas for the festive season, possibly in the Jeep.

Unfortunately, due to an unprecedented 25°C rise in temperature over the last two days (it's -1°C today), broomball has been pushed back a week to let the ice harden (or whatever ice does). To satiate your appetite, this video is a pretty good summary:



We play outside. Our league doesn't require us to wear helmets unless you're in goal, and many beers are consumed in the course of a game.
