I was wondering if any of you guys could lend me a hand in obtaining a few photos. I'm after a few photographs of a standard looking Mk1, Mk2 (or 2.5) and Mk4. The shots I'm after is a 'square on'front facing shot, the same as the one below. The reason being, I'm looking to create some line-art drawings of all 4 marks of MX-5 for an upcoming project (similar to 2nd image). Any contributions are appreciated. Alternatively,if anyone has a car in the S. Oxfordshire area (or within 30 mins drive, i.e. Oxford, Reading, Newbury) that they wouldn't mind me snapping a few pictures of, please let me know.   |

Cheers Andy! I have a feeling the ND will be the most challenging of the lot to get looking 'right'. None of the smooth curves of the NA, NB or even NC. I've already started on the NA, from an image plundered from the interwebs.  |

Yeh the ND is more pointy, if you can incorporate the line that runs across the top of the headlight, the distinctive front wing shape, and the five point grille, it should be easily recognisable

Mk1 nearly complete. I'm not entirely happy with the front arches, and can't decide if I prefer pop-ups up or down?  |

I'll expand it a bit and see what it looks like. I'm not going for highly detailed. It needs to be correct though. I'm leaning towards lights up. It's the defining feature of the NA. |

Just a quick update. I've been off-the-radar the past week or 2, and haven't had a lot of time. Things are still progressing... slowly. I've got some work to do on the NC, then I can start on the NB.
I'm still looking for some source material for the ND. I might have to resort to asking a real person.
