Mine is up for renewal soon. It's come down by 600 quid from initial quotes on gocompare. I am going to see what green light say too just because everyone goes on about them. Anymore I can call for modified car insurance?

AIB were best for me this year, about £80 cheaper than anyone else. Worth calling Sky, A Plan, maybe Adrian Flux? I've heard nightmares about them, but for the last two years they've been fine, not that I've really had to deal with them though.

just this - Insurance companies make a lot of money - i read somewhere that one of the big ones is paying out the equivalent of £25 per policyholder in dividends alone. They are businesses, they have strategies to maximise profits, they have a duty to their shareholders to do so.

I might start my own insurance company.
Where you do a practical test to see if you're worth insuring.
If you pass, you get insured for an honourable price.
If not, you win a drumstick lollipop and a "Try harder next time" card.
