i just tried to create a thread and it ended up having a huge gap at the bottom and me being unable to scroll down and click "post thread"
i got round this by opening a new tab, going to create the thread again and was given the option to include a saved draft
going to assume this was a browser issue however

I keep scrolling down and getting trapped in the shoutbox so I cant scroll back up ... There is no real solution to this ... but I get like a confused bear every time it happens to me ... On what device? On my pc. When I scroll down it works fine until the pointer is in the shoutbox then that starts to scroll instead of the main window. Then I realise Ive Canoeed up and scroll back ... but that just scrolls up in the shoutbox for a bit until that reaches its top and the window starts to move again. Its not the fault of the site to be fair, but might actually be solved if the shoutbox was a few lines shorter and doesnt reach the middle of the page even when scrolled all the way down. This means a mouse pointer wouldnt normally land in the shoutbox. |

Or just move your cursor out of the shout box, this is the same on any site with integral scrolling sections like Twitter feeds...

Not sure if it has been mentioned but I get an error message show (rather than 'saved') when I try to change and save my privacy settings. Is anyone else getting this problem? What I'm trying to do is hide my birthday but I can't save that option.

I've fun a few forums in my time to know why you haven't chosen to allow user image uploads, but as a recommendation could you allow it on the how-to boards only?
Disposable content like general banter threads don't need that stuff kept, but the historical resources are why people still use forums rather than places like facebook, and from experience its best to keep these images local where you can control them.
Just a suggestion tho...

is there any way to subscribe to a whole section rather than just specific threads? It'd be nice to get a notification when parts come up for sale for example

how about a map of where everyone's from? basic and the kind of thing you wont look at everyday but might be good to see how the forum is growing... assume all you need is for people to enter a location when signing up..?
