Wasn't sure what the policy was here for promoting companies who aren't a sponsor, but if it's ok here's a link to his website. His name is Mark and he's a right nice lad. www.msxdials.co.uk/I got mine finished today and popped some white LED bulbs in to match the Stack gauges. Not the best shots as I'd already shifted most of a bottle of a very nice Cab Sav when I went out to take them, but you'll get the idea. I may have to tone the brightness down a bit, they actually look brighter in the photos than they are, and they're no brighter than the Stacks but I'll see how I go on with them, I'll go for a night drive tomorrow .... any excuse

Promoting business that cool stuff for Mx5's is fine on here. Tell him to sign up and post about what he does. I don't charge traders to use the forum as long as they engage with community I have no issue.

What have you used to plug the aerial hole in the rear panel? I ended up with a chromed plastic bung for a bog cistern, it was the only thing with a big enough Dia to cover the edges of the hole. I painted it Montego Blue before fitting it and it looks ok. I was considering taking the car over to Fat Fender who aren't that far from me, to have the hole filled and painted properly but if ever I sell it the new owner will probably want a radio so I'm not really sure it's a good idea. One rule I have with the RS is that any mods I do have to be reversible and bunging the aerial hole up permanently goes against that so it'll more than likely be left like this, I can live with it ..... I think And fitted Good effort. Looks fine. I also tend to follow a similar rule with mine whereas I don't like doing anything that's completely irreversible. I've considered removing the aerial as I never listen to the radio, just occasionally put on some music through the aux cable for which the aerial isn't needed but still likes to pop up! Just about finding a suitable blanking plug without it looking a bit crap. Dials look good too. Promoting business that cool stuff for Mx5's is fine on here. Tell him to sign up and post about what he does. I don't charge traders to use the forum as long as they engage with community I have no issue. Such a refreshing policy.

Looking good as ever Mr Dewi!
I gave up my bike last year too, but the MX5 just about makes up for it, and I get to drive that significantly more than I did the bike.
Gauges look ace. I'm tempted with a change and had been put off revlimiter due to cost of posting (not his fault), so this looks like a viable alternative. I wonder if he will do the HVAC too? I'll give him a call.
P.S. Your photos after wine are so much better than mine when I'm sober!

P.S. Your photos after wine are so much better than mine when I'm sober! Mark isn't doing HVACs as yet but I'm sure if enough people ask to make it viable then he will. To be honest I only ordered the Jass one because apart from Adam at Rev Limiter nobody else is doing anything remotely like what I wanted. I'll be changing it over though when something better comes along. I'm missing the bike like hell by the way but I'm slowly coming to grips with the idea that I'm done with it now. It's like when I gave up smoking 25 years ago, I wasn't convinced I had actually stopped until the day I threw my left over cigs and my lighter in the bin. Likewise with the bike, I'll not have it in my head that I've given up until the day I finally get rid of my bike gear. A lot of it's gone but I've still got enough left to let me get back on another bike

I've not got rid of any of my bike kit either (Mrs Rusty keeps asking why?!). My brother in law has a couple of old Ducati's which are always available for the odd jaunt, and we are talking about a road trip on them down through Italy next year.
Interesting re HVAC. As an aside I probably will have to do a work trip to Phoenix later this year, which isn't far from Revlimiter. If I do I'll speak to him to see if I can bring some sets back to UK to save on people's postage. Will let you know if that happens.

I'm not sure but you may still have to declare them at customs, which could be a bit of a faff. Italy sounds good, we'd mooted the idea of another road trip there for this year - down to Bari, ferry over the Adriatic and a slow drive back through Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia. We shelved it for this year now though 'til we've seen what happens with the £ after the Brexit thing starts to take effect. We're doing Scotland instead and heading over to the Outer Hebrides - somewhere I've wanted to drive and photograph for ages. All our accommodation is booked and the ferries are sorted. Everything's back in the RS now, wheel and cowls etc fitted and I've given it a good clean out - even gave it a bit of a "bedbath" wash in the garage. I'm off out in it somewhere tomorrow, not sure where to yet but we'll see where the road lead us. Retirement is a wonderful institution

Only made the Inner Hebrides, but did have a day on Uist. All amazing though, and incredible wildlife (excluding those midges!!).
I was only thinking of two or three sets, but good point as would need to be declared, so depending on custom duty may not be viable.
Enjoy your day out. Will zip out at lunchtime between meetings for a trip over the South Downs if I can.

Not posted here for a bit, it's been a kind of mixed up summer with family stuff. We managed a run out in the RS on Sunday though and even got to do a little walk by the canal P.S - apols for all the missing photos from previous posts but Photobucket decided to throw a hissy fit so I kicked it into touch
