That brake stopper looks a much better design than any of the others I've seen. Good work.

Lovely looking work. Do you have a price for the rear jacking bar shown on your site?

Hi retro,
Thanks for your kind words. These are nearing the end of development and with the Mighty 5's discount they will be £126 (normal retail £140), with free shipping to mainland UK.
As soon as they're done we'll post them up here.

Don't mind at all, that's awesome thanks! We've been looking into this DriveTribe thing but must admit haven't cracked it yet... Looks like it could be a really big thing and it's cool to see you're in on it early.

It's an interesting idea. I'm hopeful I can use it to drive a bit of traffic here which should be good for you trader types as well as the wider forum populace. We'll see how it goes.

That tower brace looks lovely.
Are you considering one that will fit over the standard air box or does that destroy the rigidity of the brace? If not, this maybe the trigger for me to buy a Jackson CAI...

Hi Rusty, cheers We aren't planning one that will fit with the stardard box sorry so you will need something non standard. It would have compromised the stiffness and the factory snorkel really restricts access to the top of the strut tower. We've developed the tower brace in parallel with our (as yet unreleased) cold air intake that takes air from the scuttle area just below the windscreen. We have some pictures of our latest prototype CAI with the tower brace installed on our website here: davefab.com/portfolio/cold-air-intake/ Cheers, DaveFab

That's nice, and I love your website too. I was then distracted by the twin scroll manifold. Whilst turbos (currently) aren't my thing, the engineering in that is amazing. 800 bhp! I'd need a change of underwear!!!!
I'll be saving my pennies for the new year.

Hi, does the brake stopper work with OEM front brace fitted?

Hi Minty, Must admit it hasn't been tested with a factory strut brace, but we think it will fit. The furthest forward point of the brake stopper is the captive M6 nut on the strut tower. This is roughly inline with the front edge of the fuse box ('97 mk1). The front of the master cylinder actually extends further forward than the brake stopper does. I've attached a picture where the brake stopper is not installed and circled the captive nut that it uses. Hope that helps.
