I went to Fordfest, it was bloody massive - assume japfest is the same, however the site is so big it's no too much of an issue Good day out, I'd be up for it

I was there last this year too. My second ever track session. Had two mental rx7s sitting in front of me, roof was down.
The track was not great for me though. It was the national circuit and the wellington straight the car was sooe slow. Although i think now i have lots of track hours under my belt i would do it again and be a lot more confident but in the corners its frustrating because you cant overtake obviously and that is the only place the na mx5 was faster than pretty much everything out there excluding the obvious racecars etc..
The show was massive and so much space. Its like a city inside silverstone! Excellent show to be honest.
I will be up for it.

I'll be going to Japfest either way. Definitely up for a Mighty5s stand. I was on stand with a group of mates last year (dunno why tbh, no one really interested in a stock daily Mk3), and have visited several years running now. Castle Combe was a better atmosphere, and much easier to spectate, but the show just got too big for the venue.

I find silverstone absolutely huge. Been there in various years for Trax, Performance Vauxhall and Japfest 2016 ...really enjoy it there but expect to rack up a few km walking
Didnt enjoy camping last year though. Campsite entrance was not very low car friendly and it was SO cold. Didn't get me in the best of moods for the following morning when it was snowing as we packed up and went to stand
Will be in hotel this time if we go!

Yeah it is bloody massive, proper fast and furious car show massive styley yo.
I remember that last year corders, you lot was not the most enthusiastic bunch, the club stand was mostly hungover or cold and tired lol. scorted was Canoeed the whole day, i remember him sleeping in the car until lunch time on the club stand hahahaha.
It was cold too i will admit, a bit cold for that time of year :/
Luckily its nly a 2ish hour drive for us so ile probably be there 2017

Standard of car is irrelevant. At JF1 2015 a guy was on stand whose car had been vandalised only a few says before and looked a total wreck. But the important part was he was there and part of the show. Someone kicked off on facebook afterwards about how the guys car looked prarrie canoe and he was quickly shot down by pretty much everyone
And last year...omg me and megan had to drag scorted to his car. Im amazed he summed up the energy to open his eyes let alone drive

Link up stands with combustion punks? I had good time with them last year and they had a great spot right next to the wellington stand!!
