I think an 'unfinished project' means more work as you have to take stuff apart to find where they went wrong before you can put it all back together again and then finish it.

Looks like plenty of room for a supercharger.... something I had considered (but only a little bit... honest). There is a chap who makes similar 7 style '5 mx5 conversions and he turbos all of his. Must be knocking on for 500bhp/ton. Mental. Its not so much about the power as the handling/experience for me though. I'm not sure I want to be scared sh*tless every time I go out.

Yes i think about 250bhp/ton is enough in a small, open top, good handling car for most things, i saw first hand last year at Gurston when it goes wrong in one of these lightweight type things (think it was a westfield) scary and not pretty!!
