After much development the jacking bar is together and off to the powdercoaters in preparation for its first outing at the 1st birthday BBQ. Looking forward to seeing everyone there

Hey trikkisixx, great to meet you at the dyno day - super impressed with your power figures! We're welding the first batch this week and then they go for powder coating. We've put them up on our shop here so they're available to pre-order, shipping in two weeks time. They're priced at £118.80, but don't forget about the mighty5s discount code

Even if I did shoot off coz I was being a wuss about the cold haha I was impressed too, had no clue the car would be any good! Ah awesome, are they all going to be the same colour or is there any chance we could potentially get a choice? I'm looking at getting the jacking bar, roll cage and suspension arms etc the same colour as my wheels (bronze/gold), as and when I get around to sorting it all. Oooooh I didn't even know there was a code, i'll check it out!

We did a set of parts for a customer in bright orange the other week, so pretty much any other colour is an option. We've chosen the satin texture black for this part so it fits in with the rest of our product range. The powdercoaters we use have a minimum charge of £35 per colour batch so we'd need to include this if it was a one off piece. If you wanted a few of our parts together in the same colour we'd happily waive the cost.

I take it, it won't fit my mk2.5?

I take it, it won't fit my mk2.5? It might do. The sub frames are essentially the same. I'm sure Dave can post up where it mounts in a pic and you can compare.

This is a dumb question... ... but what is it for?? It's a tow hook and jacking point and brace all in one. It fits between the rear tow hook mounting points. Pop the jack under the V and you'll have the rear wheels off the ground in a jiffy. Great for quick wheel changes for drifters, track cars, etc. This part of the car doesn't need bracing really but it is a little extra stiffness for nothing. And then if you in the car or need pulling out of a ditch you have a solid tow hook to use.

I will need to see a pic of one in place to get it completely clear in my mind's eye, but it sounds very useful
