So, went to Wales on Saturday with Jack to have the car checked out and fit my new exhaust. Was a really good day out, learnt a bit (didn't do anything to taxing) met some like minded people and had a good drive there and back. The car seemed to check out pretty damn well, with only a few bits to sort out. Well impressed for its age. The exhaust went on pretty easily. Here are a few pics of the newly fitted exhaust and newly installed lights. Nothing amazing, but its progress for me. Ill get a video up soon, but need to get a good one. Although I will admit to being a little disappointed with the sound so far. Not as raspy as i thought. But I'm sure some time will sort that... Or a decat

Holy Canoeing prarrie canoe balls. Bad luck. Guess this wasn't your fault?

prarrie canoe! Better front wing than rear wing I guess.

That really sucks mate! Could try popping it back out, looks like it might be a bit difficult to get it right though.
Failing that, a used black front wing, swap them out, good as new! As you're down Hampshire way might be worth giving Autolink a call, see if they've got anything in at the moment.

Nope. Not my fault. Neither did the person who did this leave a note! So now I've gotta payout to fix it. Not even had the car a month!
I'll give autolonk a go cheers!

That's gutting but at least it's fixable.
For the Cobalt, you'll find that the tone changes as it soots up a bit. I've now done a 1,000 miles with mine and is deeper. Drive home yesterday, had roof and windows down, and got some nice sounds reflecting off crash barriers and walls.

That's a real b*tch someone doing that in your work carpark. No CCTV? Judging by the height of it I'd guess it was an SUV type vehicle. A quick look round the carpark for one with extra black paint?
As the guys say above, a front wing is much better than a rear to ding as they are a simple bolt on job. In fact, I dinged the MK1 front wing last year in a similar place & fixed it myself: Unbolt the 4 or 5 bolts along the top(leaving the door hinge ones alone) of the wing & using about a 4ft piece of timber try pushing/levering the ding out carefully. If you're going to replace it anyway it's worth a try first maybe?
Good luck.
