Mx5 Parts Single Exit Stainless Steel Cat Back Exhaust System

Very good condition, has done less than 2,500 miles on car.

£110 collection only from Waterlooville Hants PO7

The following is copied from the Mx5 Parts website:

Superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, single exit exhaust for the Mk1.

Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and a 90mm dual sleeve exit pipe.

Tested and confirmed BHP Gain of 4 - 5! (Also increased torque)

Fits Mk1 1989>1996 (upto chassis number JMZ...308212) having either the 370 or 440mm cat (please check!).

The mx5 Parts website doesn't appear to give any option to choose a version, it just says "Fits Mk1 1989>1996 (upto chassis number JMZ...308212) having either the 370 or 440mm cat" not sure if this means it fits both or what. However I had it fitted to an early 1990 car that I believe had the smaller 370mm Cat.

Hmmm yeah I think that it fits either, I remember something about the down pipe being shorter on the 440mm ones so the catback systems are the same length.

Would this fit in a 5 with the roof up? If so I'm tempted to come and get it from you.

Pm replied to and yes it will definitely fit in a five. Can't remember if both bits fitted in the boot or if I had the centre pipe in the passenger side but it fits. Happy for you to confirm fitment with Mx5 Parts, but I am pretty sure you are right that it is the down pipe that differs.
