So being relatively new to actually getting my hands dirty with anything engine related other than servicing I will admit that I may have made a mistake. As you may have seen in my build thread, I recently changed my camcover gasket and CAS O-ring. These appear to have stopped leaking after the work, which is nice. However I obviously needed to take off the coilpack bolts to remove the camcover. Simple enough, and all went back on ok, but did 300 miles over this weekend, and checked everything over after and one of the coilpack bolts has gone, it's just fallen right out. The third one down the back was never there, as it isn't on quite a few so I hear. The only thing holding it on was the last top bolt, which was literally on it's last two threads. Bit scary that it came that close. Should I have used some Loctite (like this: www.loctite.co.uk/loctite-4087.htm?nodeid=8802623422465 ) or something on the bolts when I put them back in? I feel a bit stupid for not thinking about this at the time!

Nope, just do them up evenly and tightly. We've all been there and I once left both cam sprockets loose after a cambelt change.
I don't know what the torque spec is as I only use a torque wrench on the crank bolt and wheel nuts.
Bottom one is often left off as it's a PIA. If you want a top one I probably have a spare in my random bolts box.

I was worried about doing them too tight, but is it just the camcover bolts that you need to be careful with? Yeah I'm glad the bottom one was already missing, sounds a nightmare. Ah mate that'd be quality if you could! Trying to get one off Junkyard Dog but he's taking ages to reply and I need to get one soon. I'll PM you.

If you can, get a set of flex head ratchet spanners. Makes the job so much easier.
