Great photos. We need pedal pubs!!!! They're hilarious. Basically everyone pedals, you get it for like 3 hours and just bike between bars whilst drinking. Would probably never be allowed in the UK due to licensing, health and safety and a lack of people that aren't insulted by others having fun. Well I've got news for you. In the glorious People's Republic of Brighton, we have these! At least I think so. A load of drunk people peddling a moving bar, not sure where they go or anything, but I see them on the roads around the Laines occasionally on summer days.

I can see them working in Brighton actually š

Great photos. We need pedal pubs!!!! They do them in London - I did one a couple of weekends ago for a mate's birthday. Good fun but actually surprisingly hard work!

Went to the body shop yesterday. Nathan's a great guy, does most of the modified Nissans around the Minneapolis area. As for the 280Z, the rear fiberglass bumper isn't going to work. It isn't even close to what I was hoping for, so the new plan is a completely shaved rear: I don't have a ducktail, but that's the closest picture I can find. The car will be getting the majority of the end resprayed, and the roof as well. I drop it off on the 25th, and get it back when I get back from holiday. Hopefully I'll get pictures from Nathan as the work progresses. This kind of thing:

That does look nice and clean I must say I think de-chroming and removing the lower trim from the sides will clean it up nicely. I need to do something for the rear light panel as well, as it's so sun faded. Also discovered that I'm missing three seals for the rear hatch.. might explain the exhaust smell and why it rusted in the first place!

That'll look clean, not tempted by a ducktail?
I thought side markers were mandatory in the US? Not the case?

Hmmm I think it'll need a ducktail, the fully smoothed style looks a bit boat-like. Also I like the side markers.

Another vote for a duck tail.

Well it finally happened... Was across in Wisconsin, car wouldn't start after pulling over to admire a view. Tow truck came in 40 minutes and now it's back in my apartment garage waiting for the diagnosis. Wouldn't start this morning, so I don't think it's something as easy as it flooding. Thoughts are - 1. Drove through a dusty farm track earlier. Possibly gunked up the AFM. 2. It was low on fuel, but there's definitely still fuel in it as I can see it in the filter. Pump appears to be working. 3. The PO had fitted an aftermarket (GM I think) ignition module to it. There's a couple of random wires not plugged into anything... 4. Engine still cranks at least, so I think the starter is good. That'll look clean, not tempted by a ducktail? I thought side markers were mandatory in the US? Not the case? Hmmm I think it'll need a ducktail, the fully smoothed style looks a bit boat-like. Also I like the side markers. Another vote for a duck tail. The white car has a wide body kit on and different rear lights, so I think the back looks a bit more boaty. I'm going with no ducktail first, as if I do get one, I'd want it to be black to match the bolt on imaginary wide arches I also don't have. The side markers on mine are staying. I have no idea if they're mandatory in Minnesota, but then again, a front plate is and I've never had one.

Breakdown ? Yup, car cranks but won't start. Fuel pump is 2 months old, so I'm going to be pissed if that's Canoeed. I've got a couple of hours tonight after work before going to a ball game, so hopefully I'll at least figure out what's wrong.
