Happy morning getting to nosey at a rather cool honda powered 5 whilst collecting this little treat Couldn’t believe my luck that I’d find an S2 Racing bumper 20 mins down the road! Be a little while before painting/fitting, probably over the winter I imagine. Can’t wait though.

So got home after a night shift this morning and as I reversed onto the drive way BOL started struggling, real rough/lumpy idle and a clicking sound, had a quick look in the engine bay but didn’t notice anything, so left it until after some sleep. So just went outside, bonnet up, started BOL, still the same, went round to look to see what what’s. The clicking was it’s spark as one of the leads had come off! I shut the car off, popped it back on, fired it up and it was back to normal. Very random. Any ideas why it decided to come off??

Good ol Bol has passed his MOT for another year Failed initially on an intermittent horn and a split gaiter. Horn worked when i dropped off but typically didn’t when he tested! All sorted easily though and passed. Happy days, so bought him some Prezzies! Will update when they arrive.

Happened to me, make sure the metal part of the lead is firmly pushed into the coil, not just held in place by the rubber cap

Cheeky first prezzy. Install was pretty straightforward and even tackled my first bit of wiring 😂

New shoes, wasn’t even looking for wheels as I like my 15” BBS, but I’ve always had a think for Watanabe’s. They’re 15x6.5 ET19.5

Picked up some Elise seats today for Bol, not my ideal colour but sometime down the road they’ll be reupholstered. Plus the colour is quite nice in person and they were a good price including the frame to mount straight in.

Spent a little time on BOL, popped his tatty front lip back on, someone painted it previously and it’s flaking off now, so will remove once more and clean it back to it’s base. Then went on a little road trip to grab some bits today. Norwich>High Wycombe>Northampton>Norwich, grabbed some VX220 seats and a GCR2 roll bar. Seats went straight in, roll bar will be for another day. Also test fitted one of the Wats, they’ll go on once Bol has a bit of bodywork seen too. It looked awesome, fitment appears spot on. Elise seats V VX220 seats, a bit of a difference. Ignore the dirty car! The angle of the above pic makes the Watanabe’s look huge, they are just 15’s. On a side note, the weight of the original 15 inch BBS including Rainsport tyre is 12.0kg, the Watanabe with AD08R is 14.6kg.

This is really coming together now. Looks vastly cooler and tougher with black Watanabe's and a GCF bar
