The esses can be taken at silly speeds although i have never looked at how fast i have been through there. Enter at the middle of the track, and exit wide.
Through camp if your really brave you can go through at 80mph easy 82mph is my fastest through there 4th gear

The esses are where I loose time, i do about 60-70, camp I would do about 80 on road rubber and you can feel there is more to be had but self preservation doesn't let me, something to focus on tomorrow assuming my car is back together.
Running some yoko ad08s so hoping to add a couple of mph to the cornering speeds.

Yeah just exit wide and carry your speed through esses slightly drift left for the next sweeping right hander. Dont lift off there just plough through it. Yeah i managed 82mph through camp on road rubber nankang ultra sport ns2, 4 wheel drifting a bit though. Interested to see how you get on with the ad08r! That is what i want next

I think if it was smooth around camp I would be happier but it seems to have a little bump so I daren't go quicker, if there are any quick guys there tomorrow I'll try and get a passenger lap as there could be a better line, though it is fair to say there is not a peep from my tyres so there is definitely more to be had. Would hope to get into the 1m20 ballpark if I manage to level up my manhood

Well didn't reach my goal today, my day was cut short hitting someone's alternator on track, this took out my radiator I was just starting to get up to speed as well, but the track seems to have deteriorated since my last visit, lots of cheap repair that is falling to bits not leaving you nice smooth tarmac, so what with the tyre walls I was happy to get near my best I may have found a touch more as my confidence was coming up but for the incident, I may have been able to get a 1.20, I won't know, perhaps with the sprint and the tyres removed. The diff/final drive change seem to work quite well even on this highspeed circuit, though I struggled to do a 5th to 3rd after the rise. Didn't get much over 82 on camp but the tarmac breaking up through the morning and the car sounding like you are rallying because of it isn't confidence instilling. AD08Rs didn't seem any more grippy that the old Continentals, good though just not the magic bullet I was hoping for.

Jeez that's not good. Who lost that and why no warning from the marshalls?

It fell of a guys car who had fitted upgraded mounts to it, rather than stop on track as he was by the pit lane he just came in and left it out there.
So the marshals would have been unaware.
Seems crazy to me I would have put my car there but hey ho.
