Tr lane bars are essentially copies of hard dog
Also consider gcf as above or Vindi also makes them
I would personally avoid any that connects to the floor like carbing/cusco/safety21 as I lost a good amount of seat travel

How do they ensure structural integrity if they don't attach to the floorpan?
Where do they attach?!
I guess my question would be "are they actually tested properly?" - the internet-hardened cynic in me would propose that any Joe could knock some scaffolding bars into a solid-looking structure in a shed with the right tools, but the true test must surely be "will it fall apart and decapitate you in a crash, or actually do the job it's intended to do?" lol
What cage do the various race series use?

The GCF and others connect to the shelf behind the seats (thats the structural one that encircles the tank) with plates underneath that you tighten from the wheel arches. the ones that connect to the floor behind the seats will lose you 2 inch of seat travel!! Certainly the GCF come with a certificate of quality and conformance - i keep it with my racing gear so i can always present it to a scrutineer, never been asked yet though! www.gcfabrications.co.uk/Mazda/cat2703118_3735215.aspx

Google hard dog rollbars and you will see they have evidence of proper testing
They fix to structural parts, just not the floor behind the seats

Scary. But here's a good example of why a roll bar is good: Dude went in to the gravel at Paddock Hill, Brands, sideways and rolled during the 15min public track session at Tunafest yesterday. Oops. Passenger almost squashed himself getting out as it wasn't quite fully on the roof and it settled as he exited

Ouch! My last 5 had a Hard Dog M2 Sport, it was one chunky solid thing. Highly recommended but it cost a fortune. Deffo worth looking our for second hand ones, though I imagine GCF is pretty much the same.

Did he push it onto the road and then ring the AA to say that he was the victim of a hit and run so can he be recovered please? lol
