No keyways on the camshafts or crankshaft!

And Fords, Land Rovers, Jaguars. I am sure there are others out there.
Its all down to streamlining the manufacturing process and cost cutting.
A chap at work broke his Landies crank ! spun a bearing closed of the oil hole then it went bang snapped a con rod as well.

Landrover? as in proper Landrover (defender not freelancer?) if so it's the Puma engine, Peugeot / Ford thing that's great in cars with a transverse install but rwd Transits & Defenders have isues (provably harmonics due to high revs with low-gearing ) OR..... failures are usually on old engines so manufacturers warranty has lapsed? I do find it odd that the MZR / Duratech AND Puma things both are 100% reliable in transverse fittment but standard rwd is a timebomb BUT rwd in kitcar & rallycar useage..... Rich.

You can still buy and use 60/40 lead tin solder for repairs, just not for manufacture. I use it in preference to lead-free solder wherever I can because it gives a nice strong and shiny joint that makes it easy to spot a fracture or other bad joint. The thing that pisses me off about legislation against lead solder is that the ban was based on a mistake. The research that calculated there would be dangerous levels of lead leaching out of landfill from old electronic equipment contained an error that made the problem seem ten times worse than it really was. By the time that came to light the legislation was in place. I don't mind getting lead out of the environment in principle, it's nasty stuff and you don't want to ingest it, but the alternative products are not nearly as good at doing the job. Not for hand soldering anyway.

Ah, but he overreached a bit. Captain tinfoil should know better than to put a definite date on when the evil government plot will happen. When a national lockdown doesn't happen in a weeks time he'll have to make up some new "secret intel" explaining why it was delayed but it's definitely going to happen real soon.
Everyone should have a hobby but competitive paranoid fear-porn fan fiction about the libs comin' to take everyone's guns away and forcibly inject you with Microsoft commie nanobots is just special.

I have seen a couple of comments on videos and the like that have said stuff about people having their army joining dates pulled forward and training in urban situations being rolled out... so who knows!

Quick! Roll out the next 'dangerous' variant!!" Remarkable how each of these 'dangerous' variants have arrived when they needed to keep the fear factor going 'just a few more weeks', then have all quietly had their estimates for infectiousness and deadliness revised down until they are no different to the others... Have they not heard of the boy who cried wolf?
