Started to get it back together. The ring gear was easy to transfer over to the new lsd. The bearings however, they where properly stuck. So I had to order new ones and that stopped progress with the diff. Reinforced it when I have it off the car. Also, its hard to find a difference between the FM stage 1 and competition clutch stage 4 pressure plates, color aside.

Is that re-enforcing so you don't slip if you happen to be walking on it? Good thinking...

It's mainly to maximize the surface area. You know, for cooling reasons.
And I heard that the ladies loves diamonds. Err. Men. I mean the men. Cause I drive a 5.

I have done nothing on the car for the last 6 months 🙄
But the family is growing and the garage is slowly becoming a better place to be, getting heated and with better equipment. I'm sure I'll drive the 5 again before 2022, heh.

Not really the car, but I'm slowly making the garage a nicer place to be. It has now got heat since I installed a panasonic heat pump. I also added sockets, 2x400v and 10x230 16A and 2x230 10A is now in. That should lessen the need for extension cords. Optimally I'd paint the walls before this, but I want it warm for 6 months or so first in order to make the concrete totally dry.

I really should paint the walls. Did clean the floor some and installed a vice through the 8mm steel plate that is my table top. It would have been easier if I'd bought the 10.2mm drill for the m12,s, but my taps are good and i need the exercise

Still doing nothing to the car. Got another child, got one of each now. Built a bench, bought a mini lathe/mill. I really hope I can get back to the car soon Also, I already need to install a few more sockets, heh.

Bloody hell. Congratulations... Only seems like 5 minutes ago you had the first one. Does that mean we are all getting old?

1. I think it does.
2. On the other hand, the first one is only 16 months, they are kind of close together. Hopefully it will be awesome for them in a couple of years.
