Yeah, I can't really afford it but my spine is probably my biggest weak point so I need supportive chairs to sit in/on, whether at home, at work or in the car!
All the bucket seats I see elsewhere seem to just have either a flat back piece, which will hardly give any lower back support, or they seem to hunch the driver over, bringing the shoulders forward of the spine, which is itself forced into a weird c-shaped curve rather than what it should be. If I can get some custom padding work with the motordrive seats, I may well be sold on them...

Well got down and dirty with the 5 today I managed to get the Low pro's on today, they took a lot longer than expected but hey ho, I'm learning all the time and that's half the fun right? Here's how they look on the old girl. Also popped on a Racing beat power pulse intake rep which was a tight fit to say the least but I'm very pleased with it! As my exhaust system is all stock currently, the lovely roar it makes it rather noticeable and worth it for sure! Here it is... Lastly talking of exhausts, just bought a Maxim works manifold from Anthony at AK automotive, can't wait to get that! Here's the mani. ....and to finish a group pic!

That first picture looks like it's raising an eyebrow at you like a disapproving parent lol What's the output like on them? They don't look very strong from the last pic, although I appreciate it was taken off the main axis of the beam!

Haha yeah I like that pic Light output I not sure on exact figures but it seems much improved, they have osram night breakers in too. It's bizzare driving and not really noticing your headlights are up!

I do prefer the clean look of the lowpro lights but I think the 'big eyed' look of the standards is somewhat friendlier, which might mean it's easier to get away with being cheeky in traffic lol
I'm still not sure I'm used to driving around with them on/up, though, so am tempted by the lowpros!

Cheeky in traffic ha true, though it seems every little chav or company car man always love to sit up the rear canoe of the 5! Never had a car that attracts so many idiots, even when I'm just pootling along!

So far I've had relatively few, amazingly, but there's always one or two to drag the rest of humanity down...

A not so exciting update but nevertheless satisfying. Popped into town the other day to run some errands and pop in to see Eddy@Fasteddy's, enroute in the traffic I noticed the temp was rising above normal which it never used to do even in traffic. So after getting to Eddy's and having a quick look under the hood, this little culprit reared it's head! Long story cut short, bought another one and hey presto all back to normal! .....just incase anyone wants the part details...

Update time, I popped on my OMP steering wheel today, it's a 300mm one. I love it, it allows you to see the 30,40,50 mph just and the 5500rpm onwards so I can certainly live with that. May get a spacer at some point, but no rush. Loving the extra leg room!! Also took delivery on my Maxim works manifold today and soft top all from AK automotive. Can't wait to get the soft top on, so Hard top will be for sale soon. Is £350 for a Black OEM Mazda hardtop with the heated rear window fair? I think so, I know I'll get more in the autumn/winter but I'd settle with selling now for that to fund more goodies. Also found a very lovely cat back system, so just need a decat now. Then it can all go on.
