Just fitted a full set of Flo flex poly bushes. Ok, after further reading, they may not be the best, but bought now. We just covered them in soapy water and pressed them in. The arms are very stiff and squeaky. Should I have used lubricant? We are still in the early stages so easy to pull out and add lubricant if needed.

Try spraying them with silicon spray, that should help.
The powerflex bushes I fitted on the MINI came with a little sachet of grease.

As our esteemed leader said, silicone is the way to go. When I've changed bushes, the grease they came supplied with was much more viscous that regular silicone grease, and very sticky. This is the stuff I use for general silicone greasing applications, like window runners, seals etc. The same manufacturer also does red rubber grease in reasonable size tubes too.

easy to fit grease-nipples in the arms to lube the bushes? iirc there's a hole in the middle of the tubes thats suspiciously in the right place??? or is it in the brace?
I've never had good experiences with poly bushings (on rallycars not a '5) personally I prefer rubber bushings although thats my opinion.......
Rich.

I’ve got floflex bushes and have had them for years As said above - silicon spray - I do it 3 or 4 times a year or when I hear a squeak
