Thought about that, got a few bad scratches on it, (don’t you just love previous owners?)I need to reposition my rev counter needle, so may as well apply a bit of elbow grease to it, don’t really want to buy an eBay unit just to get the glass/plastic...

If they're deep scratches they obviously won't come out, but if they're just surface market you might be able to wet and dry them with 2500 grit and polish them out. Failing that there has to be someone with an old speedo unit kicking around somewhere.
