so just to follow up and ask more questions PPF off, exhaust off, gearbox almost off, engine wires and pipes off. yeah I'll be taking the gearbox off separatly from the engine (not enough room in front of the car in the garage). Engine leaks like crasy all over the place! did check a lot of bolts, nothing really conclusive, at least not from up in the air. could be different on the road but I kind of dought that what I saw would make that noise. Anyway the diff bushings have seen a lot better days (27 years old ...), I've read about poly, oem, sports oem, etc. and I still can't make my mind up. OEM (expensive!) or superpro? Would the sports rubber be comparable in NVH to the superpro? I don't really want more NVH and the price of OEM is rediculous ! and none in stock on MX5parts (ILM has some but even more expensive plus it's cheaper to have things sent from England than Germany !!!) The sports version are cheaper than OEM but would they be harder than the superpro? The was a comment about void fillers but I think my bushings are nackered Any thoughts, anybody have been in both cases? impressions? Thanks

I fitted the void fillers and they made a marked difference, stopped the snap back when quickly stopping accelerating. Also been burned by the rear main crank, we changed out a leaking one for a new one and it's leaking also!
