My best mate has them on his forester turbo and together with a fully poly bush setup all round (lots of work and money) have utterly transformed the car. Just std suspension all be it renewed but the difference is very surprising.
Yes R-ARB up from 11->12mm and poly bushes in the mounts.
LOL ... well some cars have them as standard ... but I know exactly what you mean. We have some very aggressive poly bushes in the track pug and whilst ideal on the track its the last thing I would be looking for on the road !
Ahh, maybe I'll look into them then. I've not done a huge amount to the car as its one we tend to do long trips/holidays in. I drove 10 hours back from Scotlandk a few weeks back, with one short break and I could have done more... no aches, pains, headaches or bordem and I don't want to mess up that perfect equalibrium lol. The only things I've done is: Cosworth panel filter, HKS Silent power axle back, decat resonated centre (the car still has a cat in the downpipe and passes emissions), 290lph fuel pump, 3 Port boost solenoid, NGK ILFR7H plugs, remap (fbtuning) with 1.3bar/19psi boost (fairly conservarive map) and approx. 320BHP, brembo high carbon disks/pads all round and motul rbf600, all that and a full camber/caster and zero toe alignment. While I was doing the suspension on the Roadster I measured the bars on the car, the Eunos I have comes with 19.5mm Front and 12mm Rear, absolutely tiny. The Mini R53 I had was 19mm rear I think and I upgraded that to a 25mm lol . That mini had solid engine and gearbox mounts and everything else was poly, with no interior is was a rattle fest

Great to hear ... that's the way Im leaning right now.
Seems like I really do need to blag a ride in ideally an NA with this kind of road setup. Bit tricky with COVID right now !
Which region of Cambs are you in? I could be persuaded to have a drive if you wanted to see what a full polybush setup feels like

I took a mate and myself to LockLomond and back with two mountain bikes on the back in the scoob ... fab holiday. Full list of mods could be a challenge though not that much compared to the blown pug but :
HiSpec big brake kit and braided lines Strut brace Whiteline anti lift kit, R-ARB and R links Bumpsteer removal Prodrive WR sport springs and dampers (new) 3" H/S DP narrowing to a 2.5 BB HKS induction kit Intercooler splitter 3 port boost solonoid Link ECU and a BRD remap (scary) Removable towbar
Mini looks fun

wannabe: I'm around the Cambs/Essex border ... you ? Which poly bush setup did you go for ? I could get there pretty easily and some decent driving roads round that way! Full SuperPro setup for me - got it in one of the Moss 15% (?) sales so saved a fair chunk of money! I can't speak about fitting it as I am a chequebook mechanic when it comes to working underneath a car on the driveway but no issues with them so far and I love the 'granular' feel, although potholes make me wince for the suspension components... lol

wannabe: I'm around the Cambs/Essex border ... you ? Which poly bush setup did you go for ? I could get there pretty easily and some decent driving roads round that way! I guess if the weathers good and the roofs off you have plenty of airflow to be okay? There are a few good roads not to far from me but sometimes hard to find them clear enough to enjoy, I moved to North Herts. 6-7 years ago and the A507 used to be very quiet and an absolute blast but its got a lot busier and theres a bin lorry route during the lunch hour now which I encountered once... a bin lorry stopped in the road on a blind corner, double white centre 60 road is a sure fire way to get your heart rate up on a lunch time drive... Theres also the B655 and B656 out of Hitchin other way but haven't really explored the essex/cambs roads much, always looking for somewhere with less traffic. I grew up about an hour from the Peak district so the traffic and the lack of hills can make it pretty depressing sometimes round here. If you have any local suggestions fire them my way ta Also, I've booked in for full geo alignment with finishlineukltd in Graveley next week, had no idea they did alignment/race car prep but manage to find reference to it somewhere and they are less than 10 mins from me so I'll let you know how that goes if you don't find somewhere closer

I had the WR Prodrive Bilsteins on my Impreza wagon, I agree with your description of what they do. Best setup i've had on any car. Replicating it on the mk1 was my aim also, so i went all out with Ohlins DFVs, after trying other setups. Job done, it's terrific.
