I love the idea of an oil pressure source in my cabin.

If you crash and burn, a bit of oil on your shoes will be the least of your worries.

As long as your engine stops when you crash you will be fine...

As long as your engine stops when you crash you will be fine... If it doesn't, you've clearly not crashed properly enough.

My very first car was a Vanden Plas 1275 which had a real oil pressure gauge which showed the pressure drop quite a lot once it got warm. Had to bend the truth a bit on the test drive, when I sold it on, that it was always that good pressure That's why I now have a nose worthy of Pinocchio and why I hate selling cars privately - after all how often can you honestly say there's a genuine reason for sale? Do folks still say that or am I really showing my age?
