doh! ebay specials any good you reckon? I'll just hang about and wait until I see a quality used one pop up, Can soon make something fit, we have an account with pearsons/pirtek at work so I can get some hoses made up. Slow progress on this now until I shell my DC2 off, the mk2 sport, then I can throw some more wonga at this. I really want a zingy 1600 engine for it, but makes sense to enjoy it for the rest of this summer then build an engine over the winter months. Took a few photo's in the woods last night. Looks good! I like the small wheel and meaty tyre combination Thanks Moro! I am debating on whether to buy another set of wheels for the road, I am so bad at making decisions. I keep looking at the RPF1's in 14x7 but then I think, well If i'm going to have two sets I may aswell try some 15's!!

At least that's a good problem to have. To be honest, I couldn't answer myself, them both options are sweet

Been a long time! I sold most of the nice bits off this. The Enkei's went + I never got around to fitting the torsen with the short final drive. I also sold the car make corn system - which I can honestly say I did not miss one bit, they are a massively over-rated system if you want my personal opinion and are most certainly not worth the money. I re-fitted the standard system but dug an old silencer out of the shed which I made years ago - one bored Saturday afternoon at work later, welder and grinder came out and resulted in having some noise back! Rasp's how I expected the corn's system too and with it only having a 2" tailpipe it's not as loud. Sounds superb and cost me nothing! Car is currently sat on some mk2 sport wheels as the NS2R's on the panasports are now bald. They will go back on next year. I was contemplating using the mk2 sport engine + diff from the car I have sat on my mums drive but i don't really know if I can be bothered too. The plucky little 1.6 has covered 142,000 miles and shows no signs of giving up, I think it would feel like an injustice ripping its original heart out! Just couldn't bring myself to sell the car, coming up to 2 years of ownership now and still puts a smile on my face It's sporting a few more battle scars, had to weld some new lower sills in for the MOT earlier in the year and had my first breakage the other week - a £12 ARB link! twonov by Nicholas Simpson, on Flickr threenov by Nicholas Simpson, on Flickr onenov by Nicholas Simpson, on Flickr fournov by Nicholas Simpson, on Flickr fivenov by Nicholas Simpson, on Flickr
