No kidding! Dangerous air pollution, crime, hookers, drugs, a target for terrorists, no where for kids to run free. It would be hard to design a worse place to bring up kids, imho.

That said, I once bought a pad in Clerkenwell in 2002 to 2003. It was fine for walking to work and getting drunk afterwards. Not much else to recommend it though.
