Got my newly fettled supercharger inlet back. Scratching my head as to why they used such thick pipe, and worried it is going to restrict my intake. In my head the throttle body being fully open presents less area than that inlet, so I *think* I'm ok. Why dafuq did they use that pipe though?!

Took it for a raz in the countryside on Sunday then replaced the alternator belt with the AA man after it disintegrated

Taxed and insured it ... thought it was about time! Also fitted a nicer strut brace, put in a bucket seat and fitted some nicer wheels ... and the sun is out, so I'm going to go for a looooong drive!!

TODAY I DID THIS Well not today, a week or so ago. There's £65 down the drain. Stupid unclear roadsigns! On the plus side, i have my roof down in the pictures I think I might have done this the other day too... Although stalking the area on StreetView seems to show it as a 4-7pm only restriction, so I might be alright as I was nowhere near that time... Markings were faded and crap, annoying!!

Got my blue one back from the bodyshop and I'm still getting used to the black line again. Also.. been told not to wash it for a month so as to let the paint harden.
Lastly, I've ripped the hideous horn/centre cover off my standard momo wheel.. revealing the horn button. Buch happier with that look.
I recon the momo monte carlo is a lovely wheel.

Mounted the front plate - bought some of the Jass mounts that are designed to mount at the bottom of the bumper, but with the intention to mount it at the top of the opening, proceeded to bend and cut them to make them fit, and it looks terrible at anything from dead ahead, I'm a moron.
Raised the front suspension, adjusted my rear brakes slightly, and reattached my bonnet catch support as the bonnet wouldn't shut without it - I snapped one of the bonnet catch supports when I removed it, so it just rotated slightly when I tried to shut the bonnet, the support mounts to the front of the catch so that fixes that issue.
Almost ready for an MOT now. Off to Clive next week for a cat making, and mapping to pass emissions, and then HOPEFULLY it's back on the road after 6 months off...

In preparation for Sunday's Autosolo took two wheels down to the local tyre fitting place. "Please replace with the same tyres" "OK £36 each" "Why so cheap?" "Because he has two containers arriving" Taking them out of the tin-top tonight discover instead of the Kuhmos they've fitted Chinese ditch-finders.... Should be an interesting conversation tomorrow morning. Just goes to show that despite all parties seeming to understand, English to Albanian isn't a two way street! Cheers, Pewe. Monday - so the guys weren't arguing and went over to the tyre wholesaler specially... "No Kumhos will Hankook be OK?" No other option so took those for an extra £20 a cover, not that it probably made any difference to the outcome of the Autosolo. One guy deffo had his eye in. Chopped his class winning S2000 in for a Cayman on Saturday - and took the class in that instead on Sunday - now there's a brave chap!

Drove not very far before realising my blasted MOT expired again. I bet it has killed another catalytic converter by now as well. Might as well order one now for the preemptive emissions fail. With the yearly cat killing and impressive rotary style oil consumption after limiter bashing do I take that to mean I should put the other engine in? Still pulls really well though which as this point is FASCINATING. HOW IS PASSIBBLE? Can an engine be simultaneously fooked and yet still be all powerful?
