Upgraded to the latest ME221 firmware. startup/idle improved! D: wish ME would state the firmware upgrade path clearly. Had to use an old version of their tuning software to upgrade the firmware..

Filled the tank with the "good stuff" and then went out and used it.

Drove it to a triumph meet. Triumph meet was a bit of a bust as it is actually happening tomorrow, only people there were the campers for tomorrow.

I changed my dash lights from factory red to LED blue...
Easiest dash change I've ever done!

Rest of the arvo..
Fitted a jass brake stopper (pita to install.. those bolts going into the brake booster are pigs) Switched to a std yellow brace (good design, IMO) Flushed the PS fluid drove it to a cricket match drove a hillclimb (you know the one dweem) drove home preparing some foam to fill the gap infront of the rad..

Whee hillclimb. I need to do that again. Went to the Triumph meet. Took a picture. Was told "you're kind of a classic, you don't need to park with the modern cars"

moved and emptied my catch can
which while I was doing so leaked a little juice onto my some 'relatively new' paintwork..
instant orange-peel. never seen a reaction so fast.
the catch was nearly full after 500 miles.... eek. need to empty it more often or fit an 'easy drain' tap to the bottom.

If you've not got a supercharger the standard brace is the best I've come across. Fitted the exhaust yet? My new ones fubar'd. Hit a block of limestone in the road and completely reshaped the mid-pipe silencer!

Moved gauges to crash pad in prep for nexus installation. I even took the time to wire up the illumination, so I might be able to see the oil temp in the dark now, which is nice.
