Has anyone fitted one? I'd like to fit one but not being an expert on the electrical side of things I thought I'd ask for any tips. I'd like it to look factory (ish) or maybe hidden under the dash? Any tips welcomed

I had to bodge one in, when the thermostat/fan switch thing died.
Single wire out the top of the connector, and then just find a ground. I tucked one onto one of the front breather pipe bolts, and then just run a switch into the cabin through a grommet. Normally one on the passenger side that spits out behind the glovebox.

If you're looking for a place to mount a switch in the cabin and you have a cubby hole fitted below your radio, there's quite a bit of free space behind it: That's a reset switch I fitted for my wideband. You'd want a latching switch rather than that momentary one but you'd want a similar flush mounting style so it didn't get pressed by accident when you chuck stuff into the cubby. I *think* you can get latching versions of that type. They have a nice coloured glowing LED ring around the button so are easy to find in the dark. Hope that's useful.

If your car has aircon and the aircon doesn't work, take the aircon out but leave the fan in then you already have a factory fresh fan button in the way of the A/C button.
