Looking for a genuine Mk1 1.6 headgasket, MX5parts has no stock for at lest 4 more weeks. Autolink do have some but they're almost twice the price as MX5parts.
Are there any other places I can buy a genuine gasket from that won't be ridiculously priced?

Pretty adamant. Head is dry, block isn’t. I’ve insoected it all and cleaned it all up but still same issue

If it’s the rear of the head it could be coming from the CAS

If it’s the rear of the head it could be coming from the CAS Head is dry, I changed cas seal a few months ago along with valve cover gasket.

The oil feed from the block to the head is just above the filter, not near the back. I would still bet on the CAS, I am about to change mine for the second time...

There’s 3 oil galleys that flow oil, 2 at the back, onenin each corner and one at the front corner exhaust side. There’s been plenty of mx5’s that have suffered leaks there. It’s not the case as the front of the block is also wet, plus I’m losing about 1l of oil a week. CAS wouldn’t be such a big leak.

The only pressurised oil feed is where I described it, all the other galleries between the head and block are simply drains back to the sump. Good luck with the gasket change, I’d do the cam cover and CAS O ring at the same time though.
