This isn't an MX5, but it's worth a shot if someone wants something cheap, reliable, super good on fuel and an honest car.
'07 Suzuki Swift Sport. It's just ticked over 100,XXX miles, has MOT till July, and has part service history. Regardless of the mileage it's in very good nick, runs like clockwork and drives flawlessly. There is no knocking, whining, or other weird noises.
When I got the car I had a New Passenger ball joint fitted and the Aircon compressor replaced as they both failed. I had the work done at Dacar Automotive - Suzuki Specialist in Orpington who checked the rest of the car when I first got it and reported everything is perfectly fine. Brake Pads were replaced 5000 Miles ago with OEM / Brembo pads.
The car had a fairly hefty service at Dacar Auto again on Monday (16/04/18) with new:
-All Aux Belts
-Titan FTX Engine Oil (99,500 miles)
-Oil Filter
-Cabin Filter
-Air-Con leak tested (All gooood)
-Gearbox Oil replaced
-New Driver side Ball Joint
-Tyres have a good 3-4mm all round so plenty of life left.
-Full Inspection at Dacar Automotive with again nothing else to report.
Only bad points really are that the Driver side seat bolster has some wear, and the carpets are worn under the mats on the driver side due to previous owner not using floor mats. It's also unfortunately been reported as a Cat D write-off but there is NOTHING structural or cause for concern. Panels match etc etc. Only thing is that front bumper and bonnet are a minute shade lighter than the rest of the car, but it is very very difficult to notice unless you point it out. Which I now have. Ffs. Only thing I can think of is that it had a light front ender, but only the bumper and hood were damaged and most likely replaced & repainted.
Please don't let that put you off the car because it really is genuinely a nice car. I'm only selling it as I want an MR2 Turbo so this any cash from this will go towards the next car on my list of cars I need to own one day.
I'm asking £1800 for the car, I'll accept decent offers so please come and see it if you're after something to run around in. Worst I can say is no but I really want it gone now so i can put some gash away for MR2TRUBO.
It's currently still being regularly used so mileage will rise.
I'll throw in a Pioneer double DIN touchscreen radio too just to sweeten the deal.
Give me a shout!
