Just booked for round 3 at croft never been before long journey but worth it to do a sprint event on a bigger track gives the exocet a chance to stretch its legs on the long straights.
Still something like 30 places so get booking if you want to go.

Croft sprint this weekend 10 places left ending tonight if you fancy a crack at sprinting.

Well what a weekend long journey to croft 280 miles infact but well worth the trip. Finished 6th overall and first in class ahead of my main rival with a caterham r500 who finished 7th overall just 2 tenths behind me which was the closest gap in any of the groups.
First trophy with the exocet and many more to come.

My best lap from the day. Croft is a great circuit and real fun. The vibration in the right hand corners is my stupid mx5parts exhaust that sits in completely the wrong location and just hits the rear subframe bracing.
love these sprints, they're so much fun - even if it's quite tiresome knowing i can't be competitive against the 2 litre cars in class with 190+ bhp
Had a great battle with the other MX5 though, and getting to drive a new circuit is always a great bonus.
Anglesey next.

Championship results have been updated and gone from 51 to 25th overall and may get into the top 10 at the end of anglesey if everything goes ok.

Cheers bud im to far away from getting overall title as i missed the first round but top 5 is certainly on the cards and a class win overall is likely. |

Well anglesey on the weekend and what a track the gradiant is far greater than what it looks like on the tv takes a lot of time to master the track. With the 24hr 2cv finishing on the sunday morning was a bit hectic with using 2 paddocks and getting back and fore but later moved down to the bottom one and everything went smoothly after the first run or 2.
Just before the rain came in stopping any more fast runs managed to get a 1.37.14 which got me 1st in class and 3rd overall which was my target to get a overall top 3 finish 3 places higher than croft.
Next up is woodbridge in just 3 weeks time plenty of spaces if anyone fancy joining in its a hugely fun series well worth the trip. The snetterton in october on the 300 circuit.
