After much soul searching i have decide to sell my ME221. I will be entering an MX5 challenge class next season and the ECU will push me out of class.
I was going to keep it on the car but could do with releasing some funds for other stuff, plus I have changed my original plan to go FI with this car.
It is the 2 plug 8995 version. specifically for my 94 1.8 it was tuned for idle and cold start by Dai from Valley5s and on the dyno by Nick from Skuzzle (made 117 WHP). Obvously with the MEITE software and various basemaps it can be used on any 89-95 car with 2 plug ecu
It comes with the FTDI USB lead and the vac hose fitted. plus the all important tacho lead (if needed - depends on the loom). With mine I also had to earth the F/P from the diagnostic box for the fuel pump but this again depends on age and loom. It also comes complete in the standard Mazda ECU box saving you the trouble of swapping over
It should be PnP for an early 1.8 - i had a Jackson CAI and decatted s/s exhaust to give you an idea of the car.
People on this site have seen the car in action and heard how nice it sounds!!
This unit is only about 6 months old and there is great support form the ME site - motorsport-electronics.co.uk/forum/
I am asking £480 inc UK p&p for this which is great considering they are £545 with no extras usually! Meant to say open to sensible offers
