Looks nice that, just about the right size That's what I thought to. The GoPerfom one on MrsHorney's MK3 has fair bit larger tail pipes and they stick out a bit further as well. Her's is also Canoeing loud.

Induction kit arrived (thanks Andymk2) yesterday and -30mm lowering springs arrived today. Mission on tomorrow to get that lot fitted. It's also booked in for a fast road alignment at The Wheel Alignment Centre in Southampton next Saturday.
I've also chosen the wheels it's getting, just need to save up for them now.

Sounds nice and it's processing well. I'm sort of doing some similar stuff, but on a MK1

Spent saturday fitting the -30mm Eibach lowering springs and the Induction Kit kindly supplied by AndyMk2Lack of pics (and fitting guide) because time was against me. Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Sunday went out to bed the springs in by hacking across the south downs to Goodwood for Breakfast Club. Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Untitled by Nicholas Horne, on Flickr Dead chuffed with the results. The springs have not only made the car look a lot better but it now handles like a proper MX5. Gone is the twitchyness over small undulations, the ride is slightly stiffer but still very complaint and the body feels much better controlled. Pressing on through a series of switchbacks the car and steering loaded up beautifully and massive grin spread across my face. The Induction Kit has added some more aural drama and seems to have made the exhaust sound better as well! I need to get it on the Dyno to see what improvements to HP the zorst and Induction kit have made. Booked in at The Wheel Alignment Centre in Southampton on Saturday to have it properly aligned. I've done a lot on the two weeks I've owned it but now there's likely to be few changes until the new year. It nopw sounds, goes and handles properly as well as no longer looking like a 4x4. The wheels, tyres, ICE, boot spoiler and light tints can all wait until after Race of Remembrance and Christmas has finished battering my wallet.

Cool! I wondered how it would sound. Removing the airbox does reveal some ugly wiring, I've seen people make little covers to neaten that area.

Had a drive in a Mk3 on Sunday, not been a fan up till then but with some better suspension and some engine tweaks it's a very different beast. Looking on ebay the prices are getting better too ... have to admit I'm tempted!!

Looking on ebay the prices are getting better too ... have to admit I'm tempted!! Russell I was never that keen until MrsHorney bought one. I then realised it was actually a very decent car. I do wonder as prices of these drop how many more we'll see in enthusiasts hands. I know Skuzzle was saying he started to see a lot more of hem come through his door in the last 12 months. Not sure they'll ever be the choice of the drift kids though. Well see!

I can see anyone turning one into a drift car really

Ha ha. Yeah well. That car's now actually a MK4.
I was more thinking the "streeto" guys hammering about in knackered MK2's with welded diffs and big gay wings. I think the MK2 will always be the cheaper and plentiful option.
