It's Carbon Fibre man! It would be a crime to paint it! If the car was a different colour I'd probably have bought the GRP version and gone body coloured but the CF works well with the Galaxy Grey. The GRP one would actually work out more expensive as well once you factor in prep and paint.
It is the first naked CF part I've ever fitted to a car. My old classic Mini had a full CF front clam but that was painted green.

Bought Lamin-X red tint film in Black friday sales. Total cost including shipping and taxes was about £80.
Threw it in the bin. Bloody useless stuff. No idea how people have managed to tint MK3 lights with it. There's too many curves and it ends up full of creases.
Ordered some red light tint spray for £12 from Euro Car Parts. Probably what I should have done in the first place.

Oooops. Spun it and end up nose first 3 feet into in a hedge.
Luckily damage is limited to some scratches that should polish out and some missing paint on he front nose. Proper annoyed at myself b cause Inwas being a Canoe and skidding it about.
