Hi all,
Hopefully soon to own a Mk1 import.
I'd like to get myself some wheels.
Is there a specific size that just works perfectly with 5's.
I see a lot of talk of '8J' ET 0 ? (8 Inches wide, right? haha)
I know I need to get 4 x 100 haha, but I definately do not want to have to roll arches or anything like that.
Does anyone know what the stock 14" BBS are on 1.8 S Specials fitment wise?
I guess I won't mind being slightly wider, but if I know what size to look for I can keep my eyes peeled
Really appreciate any advice - thanks!

15x7 ET35 to 25 is where you want to be for nice fitment with no arch rolling.

Cheers man!
So I'll keep peeled for 15 x 7's.
Would ET 0 just mean they don't 'stick out' as much - right? Haha. Awesome.

Horney's nailed it. I have two sets of wheels (15x6.5 et35 and 15x7 et24), and there's a noticeable difference in handling. The et35 are by far and away the better wheels. Ok so it's not going to win any fitment or stance awards but when a car is setup right it feels soooo good Can't imagine how bad 15x8 et0 must be in comparison...

I think I've found some I like, 15x7, ET20. No arch work should be required, and I should have way more grip than the original 14" BBS.
Any idea how much 4 decent BBS eunos rims are worth? All 4 have centre caps, in half decent nick! & 4/5mm tread each.
Cheers all

I run 15x8 Et0 and the car handles like a dream! I'm no race driver though.
15x7 et20 should be fine for no arch work I think. I had 15x8 ET20 and had to roll the arches when lowered but I think the 7j should tuck you in enough to avoid any rolling.

The important thing to remember is getting your car set up for the wheels and tyres you have. Any change in wheel or tyre size or offset should be followed by a visit to get them aligned properly. I have 15 x 7 et30 and 15 x 9 et36. The bigger wheels handle a lot better, but only after the correct changes to the geometry and suspension
