From nutz also. There was a lot of talk of starting something else, but never thought anybody would actually get off their rear canoes and do it.
Good work.
Will get some sort of build thread up here as soon as I can.
In short, black s ltd '93. Spent a lot of time farting about with inconsequential bits, then my wife got bored of me saying "one day I will turbo it" and gave me the cash for my birthday and told me to STFU.
So I now have a td04 turbo with all the normal goodies. 190whp (~240 crank?)
Huge amounts of fun
Let's hope this place has all the good bits of nutz without the nobby owners.

I wish my gf would tell me to STFU and turbo my car! She says I can do whatever I want, it's my car, but I think she'd judge me for not spending the money on our Spitfire restoration lol

But as time has gone on I have realised that I don't have time for that prarrie canoe and just want to make it fast (and not ugly...) I am a sucker for red leather interiors (r ltd, and boxster with red interiors previously). Hopefully my elise seats go back a bit closer to that. I was never going to justify re covering the recaros in red as planned... I have seen you on "the other forum that shall not be named" but not seen a build thread. |

When I bought mine, I was adamant it would stay stock. I don't need to spend money on go faster bits or bolt on parts, I said. Funny how quickly the itch starts..
You're right, I never got round to putting a thread up. I might get round to it one day lol
