Silverstone is always expensive, because F1 circuit. To be honest unless you're running boost it's also a bit boring to drive although the view is epic as you recognize it from the TV onboard shots.

Not a rich man by any means but 250 is cheaper than the £450 normally charged. Ok its November so in the lap of the gods regarding the weather.......last year was awesome, 200 + miles in dry conditions. As Horney says its a long circuit so suits blown versions...

good point. without boost i got bored on the smaller national circuit earlier in the year. wellington straight was loooong barely touching 100mph.

Well? That was a total waste of time and money, wet, no problem but oversubscribed with a fair smattering of total twats on the track diving in and out like it was a BTCC roind. Most i got was three laps due to red flags. Organisation was a joke and the pit lane was just shambolic. 87 miles inc 3 sighting laps!!!!

As I'm no longer a coke dealer I'm waaaay off affording that kind of business!
It's annoying, its really close to me and I've never been. I'd imagine it is a bit roomy for a car though, so I'll hopefully take the bike if it passes the noise regs.

Me and a few mates always do Abingdon Airfield in the spring. You guys should tag along. I know it's not a proper circuit but it's a great layout and a proper bargain for £ vs Tracktime.

due to the fact that it were "only" £249 and not the £450 upwards it would normally be meant i only needed to "supply" half the coke required coupled with the fact that i only used half a tank of fuel aswell meant a relatively cheap day. im with Horney on the Abingdon days, a really well layed out circuit that begs to be tamed......maybe we can book a Mighty5's day there in the spring me in my normally aspirated Eunos tearing up the opposition with Spyder Ed in the silver TB'd Eunoch.....god i miss that car me being chased down by Ed, really shows the movement in the cars in the corners, D

Guy that runs it is a billy bullprarrie canoeter. I booked it. There was a problem with my payment, so i emailed him. 6 times. I eventually got him on the phone and he said it was all fine, I would not lose my booking. Guess what. I lost my booking. Tried to tell me he had sent an invoice - but clearly did not. On the same call (after getting me mixed up with somebody else he had clearly doen the same thing to), he told me that they had taken 50 bookings too many (120 places) and that I could turn up if i wanted to but "I wouldn't bother if I were you". FFS Suggest nobody bothers booking with them in the future. I am doing the RMA day on 7th Jan on the GP circuit though. Looking forward to that...

How the hell do you take 50 bookings too many?
5, ok, I can see that happening due to delays with people paying etc and then it all getting messed up, but 50??
The words 'Piss up' and 'Brewery' spring to mind...
