I have owned my 05 Mk2.5 since January 2013, and spent a good amount of time mainly lurking on MX5NUTZ.
It was turbo-charged with a TD04 around springtime last year, and I've been keeping how much fun it has been all to myself since then.
During late summer to early autumn, I found out about a type of competitive motorsport called AutoSOLO, which is where drivers race around a coned track one at a time, against the clock. It has similarities to Autocross in the USA, which is all over YouTube, but it's fairly hard to find out about AutoSOLOs over here.
Following several conversations with fellow competitors, I teamed up with a couple of friends with the intention of promoting club level motorsport to MX-5 drivers. In addition to AutoSOLOs there are events such as 12 Car road rallies, held during the winter, and Targa rallies, which are held from spring through autumn.
In order to support our efforts to promote club level motorsport, we have produced a range of t-shirts and are developing motorsport related products to make competing more fun, more safe, and more convenient.
