It's that time of year again, the snow is falling and we all regret owning soft tops but cherish owning RWD, the robins are nesting and hundreds of little boys and girls are in front of an open fire, writing their letters of Meisters and Enkeis to Santa. In the spirit of the holiday season I am pleased to ammounce the first annual official...
The Great Mighty5s Secret Santa!
1. Post up on here whether you wish to be involved. Send me a PM with your real name and postal address to me, as soon as possible please but no later than Sunday 27nd November.
2. On Monday 28th November I will put all the names into an actual hat and will draw out, on a completely random basis, a name for you to send a prezzy to and a name for someone to send a prezzy to you!! I'll PM you the details.
3. Head to the shops/internet/carbootsale/shed and buy a gift, suggested value of £10. Go generic if you like but a bit of thought and creativity goes a long way, and a bit of thinking about your recipient can also help too - that extra mile is what makes these things really special. Wrap it in Christmas paper and tag it with an appropriately cheesey message, but DONT say who its from, then wrap again in postal packaging.
4. Please post your gift no later than Friday 9th December. The UK cut off for Royal Mail 2nd Class is 20th December but the 9th gives the Elves a window to tidy up loose ends.
5. Please can you PM me when you have posted your gift. This is not be heavy handed but purely to again help the Elves keep on top of the admin behind the scenes.
6. If your gift has not arrived by say Wednesday 14th December, please PM me and I will send out a reminder to the relevant Santa to try and limit the dissapointment of many boys and girls.

If you don't think you'll get around to it, don't get involved - you wouldnt want to dissapoint any particular boy or girl, and I bet they would have been really good this year too (ramping up the guilt...)
UK Santas only. Not trying to exclude anyone, just keeping it manageable, keeping costs equal to everyone and keeping postal timescales constant. Apologies to all non-uk members who would have liked to be a part of things.
An actual hat may not be used to select people as stated, but the process will remain random.
This Santa is the official thread, and run with approval from Horney and the team, do not accept any substitutes.
