Maybe like two people on here know about my little blog - Hyper_Octane which is pretty small at the moment and is going pretty slowly! I do car reviews, event coverage, feature cars and stuff like thiiis. So, back in September I got in touch with HSV who agreed to loan me out their Flagship Maloo for a week to have fun in and do a review. For those of you that don't know what an HSV Maloo is, imagine a small but rather heavy Holden pickup truck, Tuned by HSV with a 530HP - 650+ft/lbs torque supercharged V8 squeezed in it. Sounds like a recipe for a front heavy, useless machine only good for burnouts, drag racing, and willy waving at the lights, hey? Well, find out for yourself below hyperoctane.wordpress.com/2016/11/29/hyper-review-hsv-maloo-r8-lsa/Please have a read, and let me know your thoughts on my findings. Also, critique on the article itself is v welcome pls.

How do. First observation which struck me immediately is the spelling mistake on your banner mate - Obsessive car nut, let lose on the internet. Should be 'loose'. Also, everyone knows internet is spelt 'interwebz'.

Read it all now, and really enjoyed it. My one criticism is when you talk about the seats you kinda skip forward and talk about the handling before you get to the main driving part, so the timeline is kinda whack at the point (hope that makes sense) Overall, very good IMO and hope you keep it up, you're funny and likeable which is the main thing.

I enjoyed the read, I get bored reading many articles because they are so clinical, I'm sure the purest will be able moan about something or other but it was a good read, written by a hum hum 'normal' person.

Nice write up I like Oz motors, like american cars but with the steering wheel in the right place. i owned a Holden (Wagon not a ute) when in NZ and a Ford falcon in Oz and have a soft spot for all things antipodean. The Holden HQ station wagon was their underpowered straight six "town car" (cos it had the small 202cuin motor), I could fit my mx5 in the back! Id like a Monaro but I just keep thinking Vauxhall in the UK!
Great Antipodean stuff:- Holden V8 racing All Blacks Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel AC/DC
Thats about it!
