OK, so I've not even got my car yet and I'm making plans

I'm getting an imported 1996 NA which appears to have the facelifted tombstone. This is a shame as I rather like the retro styling of the original one, but considering everything else is perfect then that is a small price to pay.

My question if anyone knows - how hard would it be to retrofit the earlier tombstone into a facelifted car? I'm a bit of a retro roadster fan and that seems like a much better starting point... although on that not I'm also happy to be corrected!

Actually, I think this question can be skipped on account of me being a plank.

I was researching retro switches and found some info suggesting the tombstone on my import would not work with the jass hazard/lights switches due to a different dash from 95/96 onwards. Turns out I should have done more research before asking

The change appears to be because in some countries a passenger airbag was added which meant the dash got a facelift. Mine does not appear to have a passenger airbag, and does appear to be the same as the earlier dash.
