Now SOLD. As I have now decided that my 1998 Berkeley is going to become the donor for an Exocet rather than a restoration, I am starting to remove bits to make space. First I have the OEM Mazda hard top which was supplied with the car from new in great condition finished in sparkle green, it will also come with the genuine wall hanging kit, and if not fitted to your car we can also swap the fitting hardware over (side brackets, Frankenstein bolts, HRW switch). Cash on collection from Derby (best moved on your MX-5, although it will fit inside an S-Max!) If anyone needs any other body parts, let me know - will have bumpers, doors, wings etc soon. £350   |

Shame to see that its going to be dismantled but i suppose its for a good cause.

I know it's a pity, but it's also what I had originally planned (and now feel I've given it a fair shot, rather than simply ripping it to bits straight off!). If you are interested in the hardtop (or any other bits!) I would rather they see life in keeping another berkeley on the road, so I am not in a rush to get rid and so could hold on to it (or other bits) for you... I thought I would put it out there in case there was interest - I am not likely to be starting stripping for another month or two, as I need to get my mini sorted and MOT'd before I crack on with the mazda... |

Ideally i would love to buy the hard top., the wheels. A door lol.. But they are not priorities atm. And my funds are always extremely limited. Next priority is replacing both of my own complete rear wings and seeing how badly rusted it is under all the other panels. If its not too bad i will try and restore it properly little by little but if it is beyond my budget and then i will just drive it into the ground. If you still have something i want i wil have it one day but dont worry about holding any thing for me.

No worries, thought I would make the offer if it was helpful! as I say, I'm not starting to rip it to bits just yet, but in the meantime, let me know if you do need any bits - everything but the instruments, wiring and mechanical bits will be going at some point! |
