Not sure but lots of people use the Civic rads which are roughly half the width of the MX5 ones.

Civic rads get a huge thumbs up from me. About half the width but thicker and very effective

Do you need to change any hoses to get the Honda rads to work?

I was thinking about doing a Civic one as my original one looks close to dying. Does anyone know if there's a specific model Civic rad to use, I remember seeing someone mention a Del Sol one on a thread on Nutz.

That's ridiculously cheap. I thought the ones from Fast5 were good value but that's less than 1/2 price! Mind you the Fast5 one just dropped in a treat & works very well.

Gonna jump on the thread here (Sorrynotsorry) but as I'm going turbo soon it would be good to know if a side by side rad/intercooler be sufficient? Car will be used for a commute occasionally so traffic but mainly for fun driving aka skidz. Don't want steal your idea if that's what you're planning but good to know as it would be a pretty cool setup.

in fact i am not going turbo yet but my idea is just a general improvement and tidying up of the engine bay plus a more aesthetically pleasing CAI than my current set up I think the side by side rad/ic setup is already being used by FI cars on the other forum

The Civic alloy rad worked a treat, fitted it today and it looks and works nice, I'm waiting for some flexi hoses to arrive to tidy up the job. just waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive so I can fit my new CAI and then I'll see if it's an improvement (or at least as good as the Jackson thing at less than half the price) Will post a how to when I've finished.
