The javelin sprint series after its first series run on its own was a great success with 4 out of the 6 rds a sell out and all the classes not being decided till the very last rd well run 4 as that was the driest run. The regs/calander and classes have been changed to try and solve some of the issues during 2016. Calander is now up to 8rds although only 6 will count towards the championship www.javelinsprintdays.co.uk/sprint/index.php?route=journal2/blog/post&journal_blog_post_id=23Link will have all the provisional regs and calander for you to read up on some of the rounds later on my get changed date wise but it will look similar to what has been stated.

The regs seem a bit fluffy, if your a bit quick we'll bump you into another class , don't like the sound of that, I was quicker than quite a few in my class this year despite less power, more weight and in some cases road vs trackday rubber would be a bit unfair to get penalized for other peoples off days.

It just seems soo far away at every round from the southwest, too expensive and long haul for me, so much petrol, so much organising, so much money on places to stay :/
I know your south wales so even further for you but i just cant justify these yet.. sell it to me more!!
I got no race stuff whatsoever, no gear, no license, not enough cash for it, but i wanna race atleast once in 2017.

Its more for people that have placed themselves into a class that is completely wrong for your car ie a modified car in standard car class etc.

That is the downside but trust me the events are brilliant and get to drive some of the best tracks in the country, croft/snetterton/cadwell/Anglesey with 2 raf airfield tracks and Blyton for a bit of a mix. You can camp at the track many do I stay at a hotel as I hate camping but even then most places are like 60 quid per night for a room. You don't need and race stuff whatsoever aslong as you have sensible foot wear and a helmet even a bike helmet is ok as long as its good quality. The license iopd is either 15 quid for the full year or 5 quid for single event. There be atleast 8-10 mx5 per round and plenty of different cars of similar performance to yours and you may get a chance of a class trophy, its is one of the cheapest and easiest form of motorsport out there.

First rd is close to being sold out up to 70 of the 90 spaces there is some 10 mx5 throughout various classes so plenty of people to try and beat etc. Be great if a few members be able too attend some events this year.

I really want to get in on this, how much seat time do you get, is it always the same number of runs per round?

May run non timed runs after if enough time. Compared to track days its crap compared to msa is twice the seat time. Kendrew and Cadwell are the last 2 rounds of the javelin series there is also a Mazda sprint series which is joined on in with the Toyota sprint series run by same people as the javelin series.
