Thanks, I really appreciate it!
I don't think I'll win, I'm on 8 likes at the mo, and without reading every single page I know someone on there is on 69, but to get a full set of ohlins on the bike it would be worth trying - stuff of dreams!
Myothercarsa2vc, theres a bit more info in the 'what bike have you got' thread, but I'll post more up when its back from mapping.

I'm up to 26! I've never felt so popular!
If anyone else can like Ohlins on my behalf for a month I'd really appreciate it, to have a set of suspension on my bike that basically outvalues my bike is the stuff of dreams!

Ohlins are the dog's D's BT, not only are they a great bit of kit but they look fantastic as well. I lusted after an XJR1300SP with the Ohlins for ages and almost bought one a few years ago, but a nice V.Max came up for sale so I bought that instead

Yeah, I know full well they are the best... Closest I ever got was having Ohlins progressive springs in the forks of my gsxr750 and they transformed the bike completely. People like me would never get to own that kind of exotica, which is why I'm pushing on this competition as much as I can!
I owned an XJR1300 when I was an instructor, an awesome piece of kit. Id have another as a second bike in a heartbeat, money allowing. Having ridden a vmax I'm amazed you'd choose it over an XJR, but the vmax is a bike you buy because of what it is, not what it does... like every Harley ever.
I'm on 30 likes now, it's like being a celebrity!

Yes, the V.Max was a definite "buy with heart" thing rather than the head. It came about because I already had an FZX750 - the "Baby V.Max" - which I'd stripped and customised and thought it would be nice to own the two together, which it was. The Max was erm ..... interesting! Far too much power for the flimsy frame but great fun as long as it was treated with mucho respect. Mine was the full power Canadian import version rather than the power crippled uk one. I had a Harley Dynaglide as well for a while, another purchase made on a whim, didn't keep it for long as it wasn't really my thing. I have a Tailgate McNoIndicate R1200R these days which is an amazing bike, at five years the longest I've ever kept a bike. Some Pics of The Max here ......... www.dewisant-photography.net/y_ogb_Yamaha_V_Max.htm

I'm up to 67 likes now, I don't even know that many people!
Still going though, as the leader is on 135 at the last check so I have a long way to go.
Any ideas?

You're doing well, BT - I'd struggle to get 4 votes. I'll pass the link round some more for you.
